Industry
Athleisure and Performance
Shopify · DTC · Product Drops
RIPPED is a performance athleisure brand serving the U.S. market, and its philosophy comes straight from its founder: “Athletes don’t need fluff, just speed and clarity.” That sentence shapes the products, the drops and the way the brand talks to its customers. Everything is meant to get out of the athlete’s way.
When RIPPED approached Beyond Media Marketing, the foundations were there. They had a domain, a logo, brand colors and raw photography. The one thing missing was the website itself, and the CEO had set a three-week deadline. They needed to start selling right away and build momentum ahead of an upcoming product drop.
The Journey
A brand with assets and no front door
RIPPED had the ingredients of a brand but nowhere for customers to buy. Every day without a store was a day of lost momentum, and the drop date didn’t move.
That created a real tension. The project had to deliver a highly functional, commercial-ready e-commerce platform in record time, while keeping the interface intentionally minimal and practical in line with the founder’s directive. The final site needed to be fast, clean and focused on getting customers from landing to browsing to checkout with zero friction.
The Challenge
Fast, clean, and zero friction.
No copy, no descriptions.
There was no existing brand copy and no product descriptions. Every page needed words written from scratch, and those words had to match the brand’s performance ethos.
No technical infrastructure.
RIPPED had nothing in place for reviews, affiliate growth or email automation, and zero SEO foundation. A store that sells but can’t collect social proof, nurture customers or be found in search would stall after the first wave of traffic.
A three-week ceiling.
The deadline was fixed, and a founder who favored practicality over aesthetics set the tone. Every decision had to serve speed without compromising the checkout experience.

The Approach
Fast build. Conversion first.
Work With What Exists
Instead of commissioning new brand work, we built the layout around RIPPED’s own photography, logo and color palette. That produced a cohesive look without extending the timeline by a single day.

UX Under the “No Fluff” Directive
We built fast UX flows grounded in the founder’s philosophy and prioritized homepage clarity: categories, value propositions, testimonials and the Instagram feed. Every element earns its place by moving the customer closer to checkout.

Copy That Does Two Jobs
We wrote clear, benefit-driven product descriptions in one consistent tone aligned with the brand’s performance ethos. Each description is optimized for readability and for search, so it sells the product and supports discoverability at once.

An Ecosystem, Not Just a Store
Essential apps for reviews, affiliates and email automation were integrated at launch. SEO fundamentals went in at the same time: keyword research, optimized titles and descriptions, image alt text and a structured collection hierarchy to improve early discoverability.

The Solution
Lean, But Powerful.
A complete storefront.
The build included the homepage, collections, product pages, an About page (“Gear Built for the Grind”), FAQs and a customer account flow, all designed for speed, clarity and intuitive navigation.
Social proof built in.
A review app was in place from day one, so early customers could help convince the next ones.
A community growth engine.
An affiliate program and email automation were configured before the doors opened, so community building and retention were part of the launch.
A backend the team can run.
Analytics, order processing, product images, variants and inventory were set up so the admin team can manage products and orders easily.
